Weblight celebrate 10 years of success

Stanstead Abbotts, 3rd July 2003: Weblight Limited celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. Formed in 1993 as a new venture in the DW Group, the company was established to service the internal lighting maintenance market and to complement the external services provided by David Webster Limited.

In its formative years the company was awarded regional maintenance contracts with Halifax and Tesco and these were serviced by 10 engineers operating from head office and a satellite location. Ten years on, Weblight is now the largest provider to Tesco and continues to work closely with the Halifax. As testimony to its service levels Weblight is now one of the UK's leading maintenance providers and is proud of its client base which includes Marks & Spencer and Bhs, plus other high profile blue chip accounts.

Resulting from the growth Weblight now employs 100 staff operating from 4 UK locations and can offer a truly national service.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, Mike Thompson, Managing Director, joined 120 staff and family members for a fun day at Alton Towers.

The Directors and staff are committed to continue this success story and look forward to the next ten years and beyond.
