Weblight gain Sustainalite accreditation

Lynne Masterson has gained the company accreditation to Sustainalite, a scheme for those who manage end-of-life gas discharge light sources. This accreditation proves to our clients that we have procedures in place to recycle end of life lamps fully, helping them comply with their environmental management systems. Furthermore this facility removes the burden from them ensuring compliance with the forthcoming WEEE directive which will make it illegal to send more than 20% of the weight of discharged lamps to landfill. The DW Group has recycled over 1.1 million lamps in the last year - reclaiming a huge amount of metal, glass and mercury - most of which previously would have been sent to landfill sites.
