As part of a privately owned group that has been leading lighting solutions for 50 years, Weblight was established in 1993 primarily to focus on the unique requirements of the internal lighting maintenance market. As the company has grown to be the largest independent lighting contractor in the country, it has expanded its focus from lighting maintenance to embrace other complementary services such as electrical testing, emergency lighting and PAT testing.

With the increased focus on energy saving and the environment Weblight has used its considerable lighting knowledge and moved into the lighting refit and refurbishment arena with Weblight Projects to promote and introduce sustainable lighting solutions. As an independent Company, Weblight has established an in‑house lighting design department assessing latest LED fittings, lighting controls and energy saving lamps taking into consideration the whole life cost of any solution and seeks to align them with Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) and Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) schemes promoted by the Government to bring greater benefits to the client.
