Weblight Develops LED Cold Store Luminaire
Weblight has developed an LED cold store / back-up freezer solution. The luminaire (pictured above) provides a low energy, long life alternative to conventional linear fluorescent luminaires, is more tolerant to temperature extremes and has a lifespan of over 50,000 hours.
The luminaire has been particularly successful with Sainsburys Supermarkets and was most recently specified for one of their state-of-the-art ECO stores in Southgate, Bath. Over 800 luminaire have been supplied to date. Weblight has received very positive feedback about the fitting and it continues to be specified across new Sainsburys stores.

Weblight is Shortlisted for the 'Best Carbon Reduction Project' at the Awards for Environmental Excellence 2009
Weblight Ltd recently attended the Edie Awards for Environmental Excellence 2009 held on 12th November 2009 at the Hurlingham Club in London where they were shortlisted for an award within the Best Carbon Reduction Category for a project undertaken in partnership with Mitie Engineering Maintenance and Philips Lighting at the Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham
