Weblight awarded Lighting Maintenance Contract for the Scottish Parliament for a Further 5 Years
Following a competitive tender process, Weblight has been awarded the lighting maintenance contract for the Scottish Parliament in Holyrood, Edinburgh, for a further 5 years via FM Company, Mitie Engineering Maintenance (Caledonia) Ltd, following the end of a 3 year contract held via Norland Managed Services.
The contract covers all operational internal and external areas and allows for weekly planned preventative maintenance visits to repair general lighting failures in order to minimise disruption. Other benefits provided by this comprehensive contract include:-
- Full lighting management
- Bulk relamping throughout the building
- All luminaires bought back to full lighting
- Lamps and gear repaired for the duration of the contract
- Equalised payments for the contract duration allowing the ability to forecast annual financial commitments
