Weblight Awarded 4 Year Lighting Maintenance Contract for Clarks
Weblight look forward to a successful long-term relationship with Clarks
Weblight consider environmental management a priority and acknowledge responsibility for the safe removal and disposal of old light sources from site and promotes sustainable lamp technology.
The W.E.E.E. Directive makes it illegal to send more than 20% of the weight of discharged lamps to landfill.
If you operate fluorescent or discharge lighting on your premises you have an environmental responsibility against this legislation. This will impact on your material supply, handling, storage and end of life disposal of old lamps.
The legislation addresses all new and existing products installed in every building.
There are no exemptions related to company size!
Weblight’s Solution
As part of any relamping contract or project, Weblight offer full lamp recycling within the standard price
DW Group Holdings has recycled over 1.1 million lamps in the last year – separating out the main constituent part of the lamps: glass, plastic, metal and mercury, and returning the elements back to the manufacturing sector reducing the demand on raw materials and landfill sites.
