System Management:
The development of new light sources has created a new generation of electronic ballasts which have expanded the opportunities to control and manage lighting installations.  This would include addressable systems such as DALI.

Retrofit Options:
This new generation of ballasts provide the retrofit options to reduce energy and upgrade installations to the latest light sources enabling the client to potentially benefit from the Carbon Trusts ECA allowances.

Heat Reduction:
In many installations the use of wire wound ballasts creates high levels of heat gain with the impact on air conditioning load and the new ballasts present the opportunity to reduce the generation of heat and also, in some cases to extend lamp life up to 30%.
